COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff's deputies made four arrests and seized money, drugs and guns in two separate drug cases on the same day.
Last Friday, deputies arrested 36-year-old Howard Anderson in the 7000 block of Two Notch Rd. after a delivery service driver called his employer to say Anderson was attempting to get four boxes from his truck. It was later determined the boxes contained more than 144 pounds of marijuana.
Deputies also arrested three men after receiving tips that they were involved in drug activity. They were arrested on Hunt Club Village on Hunt Club Rd. after executing a search warrant at the apartment.
Investigators say they seized $24,000 in cash, drugs, bullet proof vests, drug paraphernalia, ammunition and guns, including two assault rifles.
29-year-old Montae Barrett and 22-year-old Brandon Issac are charged with trafficking crack and possession of a firearm during a violent crime. And 21 year-old Kraige Sweat is charged with trafficking MDMA, possession of drugs and possession of a firearm.
