Downtown Columbia streets are back open after a gas line break forced several roads to close.
On Tuesday, a gas line break in downtown Columbia required fire crews to close portions of two downtown streets.
Columbia-Richland fire officials say a crew was digging in the area of Bull and Laurel when they hit a gas line.
Bull Street was closed from Blanding Street to Richland Street and Laurel Street is closed from Marion Street to Pickens Street.
