Man charged with shooting his own brother

CASSATT, SC (WIS) - A Kershaw County man is charged with murder following the shooting of his own brother.
Sheriff's deputies say 30-year-old Daniel Hilton is accused of shooting his 35-year-old brother, Michael Hilton at a home on Thoroughfare Branch Road in Cassatt on April 24th.
Sheriff Jim Matthews said the shooting occurred the afternoon after the brothers spent the night before drinking and taking unidentified pills. Matthews said the two argued, which led to Daniel shooting Michael with a shotgun in the front door of the mobile home.
Matthews said the murder weapon has been recovered and an autopsy has been scheduled for Wednesday.
Hilton is awaiting a bond hearing at the Kershaw County Detention Center.
