COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - How about a chance to be in the heart of the Vista and share a space with an iconic landmark? Well, for the right price, you can now lease a portion of the Adluh Flour Mill.
"Just a beautiful old building," Wes Lyles, project architect, said. "Something we are very fortunate to have still in downtown and be able to renovate and bring back to life."
It's not just any warehouse, the Adluh Flour mill is a downtown fixture that's more than 100 years old and the owners think it's time for an upgrade.
"They decided to develop it, bringing in new business that we can all enjoy here in the Vista," project broker Robin Dial said.
Now the coolest thing about the space for lease is that it has two floors, 18,000 sq. feet totaling 9,000 sq. feet on the bottom and 9,000 sq. feet on the top.
Renderings illustrate what the space could look like with time and money.
Future tenants will be in good company. Jillian's is next door in addition to various retail favorites just down the street.
However, the space isn't cheap. The downstairs will be rented for $28 per square foot and upstairs will cost you $18, but it's already generating a lot of buzz nationally and locally.
