RICHLAND COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Police are looking for a vehicle that struck a pedestrian and sent him to the hospital.
The hit-and-run happened around noon Saturday on Heyward Brockington near Porter Road.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said an unknown vehicle was traveling west when it struck the 20-year-old male pedestrian who was walking east. Troopers are still investigating the exact point of impact.
The victim was taken to Palmetto Richland Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Troopers said they are still working to determine an exact make and model of the vehicle involved but could say it was dark in color.
