Barricaded suspect accused of stabbing, arrested without incident

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Richland County Sheriff’s Department (RCSD) reported a barricaded suspect accused of a stabbing was arrested without incident.

Deputies said they responded to a call for a stabbing at the 1900 block of Spotswood Saturday.

Upon arrival, deputies said they came in contact with a victim who stated the suspect was inside the residence and refused to come out.

Special Response Team and Crisis intervention teams were on the scene.

At around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, RCSD said the suspect was arrested.
