FIRST ALERT WEATHER: Warm & Dry for the next few days
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - We have plenty of sunshine for the next few days and highs are in the mid to upper 80s, but rain moves in by Sunday.

- Smoky haze will stick around tonight and into Friday, before we see a pattern shift for the weekend that will clear us up a little.
- Skies are sunny Friday and Saturday with mostly sunny skies.
- A low pressure system nears Sunday and increases our chances of rain to 50% that stays with us overnight as well.
- Monday we have mid 80s and a 40% chance of some lingering showers and some thunder.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER SUMMARY
Showers have moved south as a cold front moves through the Lowcountry. Expect partly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures near 60.
Highs reach the mid 80s Friday with mostly sunny skies as a ridge of high pressure starts to build. Aloft we still have a trough over the region and that will continue a little bit of smoky haze over the Midlands.
Saturday we have upper 80s with mostly sunny skies as a small ridge builds over the area. The pattern shift means there will be less smoke for the area this weekend.
There’s a low pressure system that will bring in a good chance of rain for Sunday evening. Lows are in the mid 60s and highs reach the upper 80s. Chance of rain is around 50%. We keep that chance of rain overnight into Monday morning. Lows are down to 70.
Monday we have mid 80s with mostly cloudy skies and there’s a 40% chance of rain as the Midwest low pushes east. Skies are mostly cloudy with mid 80s.
Tuesday we see some humidity and heat which means a chance of some isolated storms for the afternoon. Expect lows in the upper 60s and highs in the upper 80s.
