Body found inside a car at Columbia Walmart parking lot

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - According to the Columbia Police Department (CPD), a body was found inside a car at a parking lot at a Walmart on Garner’s Ferry Road on Tuesday.

CPD said the Richland County Coroner’s Office is assisting with the investigation.

CPD said no foul play is suspected at this time.

Earlier this afternoon, #ColumbiaPDSC officers were dispatched to the WalMart on Garner’s Ferry Rd. after a deceased person was found inside a vehicle in the parking lot. The RC Coroner’s Office is assisting us. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
