- Few storms for this evening, most will be south and east of Columbia.
- Highs reach the low 90s Tuesday, which will be the first time this year.
- There’s a 30% chance of showers and storms for the afternoon as a cold front moves through.
- A cold front passes through and lowers humidity Wednesday. Highs are in the low 80s.
- Mostly sunny skies for Thursday with highs in the mid 80s.
- Mid 80s Friday with partly cloudy skies, we’re back into the low 90s.

Tonight expect a few isolated showers and storms, mainly south and east of Columbia. Temperatures are mild with lows in the mid to upper 60s. Expect a 20% chance of a shower or two.

Low 90s Tuesday, which will be the warmest day this year. We have southern flow as a cold front approaches from the northwest. As the front passes it brings a 30% chance of showers and storms for the afternoon and evening.

Cooler and drier air moves in from the northeast as the front moves south over the region. This cools our lows into the low 60s and highs reach the low 80s. Skies are mostly sunny.

Lows dip into the mid 50s Thursday morning and highs reach the mid 80s with mostly sunny skies.

We have mid 80s by Friday with partly cloudy skies. Morning lows are in the upper 50s. The high pressure system is to our east.

That eastern high will funnel in southern flow getting temperatures into the low 90s Saturday and Sunday for Mother’s Day. It’s going to be a hot weekend.

Tonight: Skies are partly cloudy with mid to upper 60s. There’s still a 20% chance of a few showers.
Tuesday: Isolated PM storms are possible into the afternoon with highs increasing to a range of 90-92 degrees.
Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Less humid.
Thursday: More sunshine again with highs again in the mid-80s.
Friday: Partly cloudy and very warm with highs in the upper 80s.
Saturday: Low 90s for high temps with partly cloudy skies.
Mother’s Day: Hot! With highs topping off near 93 and a 20% chance of an isolates thunderstorm.
