Skies are sunny Thursday with mid 70s and high pressure dominating our weather from the west. It’s a gorgeous day as the wind is not a factor for the afternoon and dry air stays in place.
A warm front approaches from the southwest Friday. We have clouds building into the region from the south as the front arrives. In the upper levels the jet stream is in more of a ridge formation, even though it lingers just to our north, we’re not seeing a large trough as we have the last several days. Lows are in the upper 40s and highs reach the upper 70s. There’s a 20% chance of a shower or two for the day.
Saturday we have the front move in and stall over the region. This increases our chances of rain to 50%. Morning lows are in the upper 50s and highs reach the low 70s. With the rain chances going up we see the temperatures a little cooler.
Warmer air pushes in from the south Sunday. We see temps warm up with lows near 60 and highs reaching the low 80s. There’s a 30% chance of a few showers, especially in the early morning hours.
