FIRST ALERT WEATHER SUMMARY
Skies are clear tonight and temperatures drop into the upper 40s once again. The wind sticks with us before midnight with continued gusts near 30 to 35mph. A lake wind advisory remains in effect until 8am Thursday morning.
A large trough in the jet stream settles over the region and will continue our colder weather. It also will continue our breezy winds. We’re not expecting the wind to be quite as strong, but still around 20 to 30mph gusts can be expected.
The trough still is in place Thursday. This keeps our temps cool with lows near 44 and highs reaching the mid 70s. Skies remain sunny with dry air in place.
The low exits to the east Friday. The trough moves to the north and a warm front approaches from the southwest. This front will bring more clouds for Friday. Lows are in near 50 and highs reach the mid 70s.
The warm front moves north and a low pressure system nears Saturday. This increases our chances of rain to 40% with a few storms possible for Saturday night into Sunday morning. Low temps near the upper 50s and highs reach the upper 70s.
Warmer air is in place Sunday. Lows are in the upper 50s and highs reach the upper 70s. There’s still a 20% chance of a few showers.
