COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Expect some evening showers tonight, then multiple rain chances as we head through the next 4 days.

  • Upper 70s Thursday with a 20% chance of showers.
  • Low 80s Friday with a 60% chance of rain, mainly in the morning and a few isolated storms for the afternoon.

  • Another low brings a 70% chance of rain Sunday with lows near 60 and highs reaching the mid 70s.

Mostly cloudy skies for tonight with a 40% chance of rain showers, especially during the evening hours. Lows are in the mid 50s.

Thursday we warm up to 77 with mostly cloudy skies. The jet stream is still over the southeastern states bringing unsettled weather and clouds to the area. There is a chance of rain for Thursday with a 20% shot.

Friday a low pressure system moves north and brings some uplift over the region as it carries a trough over the region. This brings a 60% chance of rain in the morning, then we see a small chance of isolated storms for the afternoon.

A small ridge in the jet stream will help keep us mostly dry Saturday. It also warms us up into the low 80s. There’s a 20% chance of an isolated showers for the afternoon/evening.

Our next low pressure system arrives Sunday. This increases our chances of rain to 70% and cools us down into the mid 70s. Expect lows near 60.

A cold front pushes through the region and we cool down. Lows are in the mid 50s and highs reach the low 70s. Winds pick up as well with gusts up to 25mph. The air will be much drier as well.

Tonight: 40% chance of some evening showers. Lows are in the mid 50s.

Thursday: Partly cloudy with isolated showers holding off until late into the day. Rain potential picks up into the night. Highs in the upper 70s.

Friday: Scattered showers, especially early in the morning, with some t-storms and downpours possible for the afternoon. Highs near 81.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a 20% chance of a few late afternoon lingering showers possible. Highs in the mid 80s.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with rain showers returning again, 70% chance. Highs in the mid-70s.

Monday: Drier air moves in and we see some sunshine. The wind picks up too. Highs again settle in the mid to low 70s.

Tuesday: Cool in the morning, with upper 40s. Then highs reach the low 70s with mostly sunny skies.
