COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Skies are clear and temperatures cool tonight with mid 40s possible, then a major warm up happens this week with upper 80s possible for Thursday.

• Skies are clear with chilly temps tonight, lows are in the mid 40s.
• Temps warm up Tuesday with highs reaching the low 80s.
• Highs are in the mid 80s Wednesday as high pressure sits over the Carolinas.
• Upper 80s by Thursday afternoon with sunny skies as the high pressure moves east bringing more southern flow.
• There’s some chances of showers Saturday and Sunday, near a 30% chance.

Mid 40s tonight! The heat might need to be turned on tonight before you go to bed. Skies are clear as high pressure builds over the region.

High pressure is the name of the game. But as the high slides to the north we see our temps warm up Tuesday afternoon. Highs reach the low 80s.

We warm up as the high pressure slides over the region Wednesday. Lows are in the low 50s and highs reach the mid 80s. Skies are sunny.

It’s even warmer Thursday! Lows will be in the mid 50s and highs reach the upper 80s. Skies are sunny.

We see a few more clouds Friday with partly cloudy skies. Lows are in the upper 50s and highs reach the mid 80s.

There’s a cold front approaching Saturday. This brings a 30% chance of showers, and that cools us down into the low 80s Saturday and then mid 70s by Sunday.
