We’re in for a mild night tonight with temps dipping down to around 60. Expect breezy winds with gusts up to 20mph. There’s a 20% chance of an isolated sprinkle as well as a weak cold front moves through the region.

High pressure builds from the northwest and this will bring sunny to mostly sunny skies Tuesday. Lows are in the low 50s and highs reach the low 80s.

The high pressure system moves east and a weak cold front nears from the north bringing partly cloudy skies Wednesday. Lows are in the low 50s and highs reach the low 80s once again.

Thursday a weak cold front swings south and stalls over the region. This front doesn’t fully pass through the Carolinas leaving us with warm temps in the mid 60s in the morning and low 80s by the afternoon. It will bring a 40% chance of showers and some storms to the region.

Friday we have a cold front approaching from the west. This increases our chances of rain to 50%. It is a First Alert Weather Day as we have a slight chance of severe weather (15%). Strong winds and an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. If the front comes through during the afternoon when the atmosphere is most unstable we could see some strong storms. We will keep our eyes on it!
