COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Chapin Elementary School dismissed school early on Wednesday due to a power outage.

School officials said busses would begin their normal routes at 10:30 a.m. After school care providers were contacted as well.

Lunch was provided to students, according to officials.

Students should check their SeeSaw (pre-K - grade 2) and Google Classroom (grades 3-4) accounts for assignments from their teacher. Teachers will have assignments posted by noon today.

School officials said they planned to return to their regular schedule Thursday.
