COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The body of 36-year-old Neil Grantham has been found after a multi-day search, according to the Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.

Grantham went missing on Tuesday, October 26 after he left home at night and got on his boat, according to officials.

While his boat was found on that same Tuesday afternoon near Spence’s point, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department says they spent nearly 12 days searching for Grantham by air, land, and water.

Fisher says she will release more details at a later time.

Grantham’s family is honoring his memory by building a playground that is a safe haven for local families. To help fund the project, they have started a GoFundMe page.
