Coast Guard crews save duo 5 miles off Folly Beach

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The U.S. Coast Guard says they and a good Samaritan rescued two people after a 22-foot boat capsized.

Reports say a 45-foot U.S. Coast Guard boat rescued one person, while at the same time, a good Samaritan aboard a sail boat named the “Lucky Dog” rescued the other stranded passenger from the water.

No injuries have been reported.
