COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Columbia Urban League hosted its 23rd annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast on Monday.
The 2021 theme was " Keeping the Legacy Alive.”
Due to covid-19, the event was virtual. Fort Jackson’s Commanding General Brigadier General Milford H. Beagle, Jr. was the keynote speaker.
The breakfast, held on Dr. King’s holiday, celebrates the legacy of Dr. King, a civil rights icon, who changed the global approach to justice, humanity, and civility.
