COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - A truck fire on Interstate 20 West caused delays on the highway Thursday afternoon.

Officials said the fire happened near mile marker 76. That’s just past the I-77 interchange on I-20.

Officials said no one was hurt in the fire, which was put out just before 4 p.m.

The fire department cleared the scene and called in health officials to clean up chemicals from the fire.

Traffic cameras showed a backup for several miles, but everything is moving well as of 6 p.m.
