LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on I-20 East near mile marker 49, which forced lane closures on Friday.

According to Lexington County officials, the semi-truck was carrying more than 150 car batteries.

Crews are still monitoring the area to make sure hazardous materials do not impact the environment.

Two fire engines, one tanker, one squad, and one battalion chief responded to the fire.

No injuries were reported.
