HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – It was a special birthday for one local boy.

With emergency lights shining and sirens blaring, Horry County first responders held a parade Friday for Asher’s third birthday.

“Have a very happy birthday, Asher, and we’ll see you again in the future - maybe then you’ll be wearing one of our badges,” Horry County police said on Facebook.

Here’s to many more birthdays, Asher!

HCPD Birthday Parade - Asher

HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY, ASHER! 🎉🧁🥳 Earlier today, HCPD and Horry County Fire Rescue teamed up to put on a socially distanced birthday parade for this awesome kiddo. He’s a big fan of firefighters and police officers! 🧑‍🚒👮‍♂️ He even has his own cruiser to drive around.🚨 Have a very happy birthday, Asher, and we’ll see you again in the future—maybe then you’ll be wearing one of our badges. (Shoutout to Aaron and Lauren, the awesome parents who pulled this all together!)
