Natural gas leak repaired in Lexington, Sunset Blvd. traffic back to normal

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WIS) - Traffic in Lexington was disrupted for several hours as crews worked to repair a gas leak Friday afternoon.

The natural gas leak was reported in the 5100 block of Sunset Boulevard, in front of Target, around 12:40 p.m.

Sunset Boulevard between Mineral Springs and Corley Mill Road was completely shut down.

Around 3 p.m., Lexington Police confirmed the leak was fixed and traffic flow had returned to normal.
