Volunteers help students celebrate Black History Month

BLYTHEWOOD S.C. (WIS) - Volunteers from all over made their way to Bethel-Hanberry Elementary in Blythewood Monday, Feb. 24 for the school’s African American Read-In.

WIS’ Alicia Barnes and Kamie Roesler took part and read books to elementary classes.

The books featured African American authors, illustrators or characters. It was all to pay tribute the Black History Month.
