Harris becomes all-time assists leader in win for Gamecocks

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina senior guard Tyasha Harris reached another career milestone in the Gamecocks’ win over Georgia.

Harris finished the contest with seven assists to become Carolina’s all-time leader in assists. She passed Cristina Ciocan, who ended her career at South Carolina with 615 assists. Harris now has 617 career assists.

Harris, who was named to the Wooden Midseason Top 25 along with teammate Aliyah Boston, was honored for scoring 1,000 career points earlier this season.

South Carolina travels to Ole Miss on Thursday at 8 p.m.
