COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina racked up a pair of SEC wins this past week on their way to ensuring they stayed on top of the AP Top 25 women’s college basketball poll.

The Gamecocks held off then-No. 9 Mississippi State at home 81-79 to remain unbeaten in conference play. On Sunday, Carolina throttled border rival Georgia to capture its 13th straight win.

Below the Gamecocks are defending national champion Baylor who sits at No. 2. Oregon, UConn, and Louisville round out the top five.

This week, South Carolina travels to Ole Miss on Thursday before turning their attention to a home game against No. 22 Tennessee.
