KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WIS) - Bryan Edwards will be a name that future wide receivers will shoot for at South Carolina.
The Gamecocks senior became the program’s all-time leading receiver with 208 career catches on Saturday during the second half of South Carolina’s game vs. Tennessee.
To get there, the former Conway star now has a catch in all 46 games he has played in. Following Saturday’s 41-21 loss to Tennessee, Edwards now has 211 career catches. He finished the day with eight catches for 83 yards. One of those catches may even be the catch of the year in college football this season.
Edwards also moved into second place in career receiving yards on Saturday. He now has 2,816 career receiving yards. He trails Alshon Jeffery for the top spot by 226 yards.
