75-year-old Columbia man killed in motorcycle crash

NEWBERRY COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - A man lost his life in a deadly motorcycle crash in Newberry County on Wednesday afternoon.
Elwood “Woody” Duernberger, 75, was riding his motorcycle on Hwy 391 when he collided with a car, the Newberry County coroner said.
Officials have not shared what caused the crash.
Duernberger died of blunt force trauma, the coroner confirmed. He was not wearing a helmet.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
