Richland One School District to offer free meals to students this summer

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - The Richland One School District will once again be offering free meals to children in conjunction with the federally-funded Summer Food Service Program.

From June 10 through Aug. 2, meals will be available at designated schools throughout the district.

Any child is welcome to go to one of the schools for a nutritious breakfast and lunch at no cost to them or their parents. Children can simply go to any of the designated sites and ask for a meal.

Churches, community centers and other nonprofit organizations that provide a summer camp or program for children are encouraged to take the children to one of the designated school sites for a meal.

The list of designated schools, days of operation, and breakfast and lunch times are as follows:

A list of the designated sites with their addresses, start dates and other details will be posted on the district’s website - you can check that out by clicking here. The list will be updated as more sites are added.
