RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) - Richland County Sheriff’s Department has announced the arrest of a suspect connected to a shooting that took place near the corner of Parklane Road and O’Neil Court.
Kendall Jamil Brice, 29, is facing murder and attempting murder charges.
RCSD Task Force and U.S. Marshals arrested Brice today at approximately 10 a.m. on the 100 block of Willow Oak Drive without incident.
On May 12, around 4:30 a.m., Richland County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a shots fired call at Parklane Road and O’Neil Court. Investigators later discovered the shooting actually occurred in the roadway on Columbia Mall Boulevard.
Brice is also facing charges for first-degree burglary, two counts attempted armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime stemming from an incident that occurred on February 17th.
At approximately 5 a.m. deputies were dispatched to a burglary that had just occurred on the 100 block of View Drive. The victims said two suspects entered the residence, dressed in all black with masks and attempted to rob them. A struggled ensued and the suspects ran away. No injuries were reported.
Brice will be housed at Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
