First Alert Forecast: Prepare For Our First Heat Wave of The Year!

Our First Heat Wave of The Year Is On The Way

Dominic Brown's late evening forecast

High pressure will take hold of our weather over the next several days. This will push any storm system that try and come our way to the North and away from us. This means dry, hot and increasingly more humid conditions developing over the Southeast.

There could be a v e r y I s o l a t e d shower during the day (Rain chance at 10%) otherwise, hot and humid conditions will be the norm for days to come. Prepare for the heat as it will be 10-12 degrees above normal with a Heat Index into the upper 90s by the end of our 10 day forecast.

Weather Highlights:

- Today will be warmer with Highs in the 80s

- 90s Friday through the next several days

- Heat and humidity will increase a bit most every day

Forecast:

Today: Partly cloudy. Highs middle 80s

Tonight: Clear. Lows lower 60s

Friday: Partly cloudy. Very slight chance of an isolated shower or thunderstorm. Highs lower 90s

Saturday- Tuesday: Partly cloudy, Hot! Highs lower to middle 90s
