Lexington Co. deputies investigate possible drive-by shooting off Platt Springs Road

LEXINGTON COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Deputies with the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department are looking into what appears to be a drive-by shooting that injured one person on Wednesday morning on Hunt Road.

Officials said the shooting took place between 3:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Deputies arrived on the scene at 4:15 a.m.

According to investigators, several rounds were fired and a home was hit multiple times.

The victim who was shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to be okay.

A description of the vehicle used during the shooting has not been released.

A portion of Hunt Road has been blocked as deputies continue to gather information at the active crime scene.
