SUMTER COUNTY, SC (WIS) - Investigators with the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office are searching for two subjects wanted in connection a theft from a vehicle on Twelve Bridges Road on May 5th.
According to officials, Amanda Dawn Powell, 39, and Jesse McDonald Preast, 32, were involved in an incident where items valued at more than $200 were stolen and about $400 in damage was caused to the vehicle.
They are both being charged with breaking into a motor vehicle and larceny.
Powell and Preast were supposed to turn themselves in to authorities voluntarily on May 10 but failed to do so.
The couple may be traveling in a gray Dodge Avenger with black rims and a Price is Right Auto Sales paper tag. Neither Powell or Preast have valid driver’s licenses.
Powell is a white female with blond hair and hazel eyes. She is 5'5 and weighs about 170 pounds.
Preast is a white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is 5'11 and weighs about 235 pounds.
