FIRST ALERT: A few downpours Sunday, but turning better early this week

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A few downpours today but we’ll stay “mostly dry”! Drier as we go into early next week.

First Alert Weather Headlines:

· The Alert Day for today has been removed to the risk of severe weather being much lower. Now, there will likely still be a few scattered showers and downpours this afternoon, but the threat for severe weather is much lower

· High temps will be in the low 80s this afternoon

· Drier weather is expected Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s (We should be around 80 this time of the year)

· More wet weather moves in late next week

The First Alert Weather day for today has been removed due to the risk of severe weather being much lower. Now, we can’t rule out a few spotty showers and downpours but most of the afternoon should remain dry. Highs today will be it into the lower 80s with sunshine and a few more passing clouds.

It will be breezy through the day today with winds from the SW at about 10-20 MPH.

Drier conditions will move in for Monday and Tuesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s. Rain moves back in late next week.

Today: Partly to mostly cloudy skies with a few scattered downpours (30%). Highs in the low 80s.

Tonight: Drying out with overnight lows in the 50s and 60s

Monday: Sunshine and clouds. Highs in the mid 80s.

Tuesday: A mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid to upper 80s.

Wednesday: Sunshine with a few passing clouds. Highs in the upper 80s.
