Dr. Lilly Filler joined officials at Shaw Air Force Base yesterday as the guest speaker for the annual Days of Remembrance ceremony.
The theme for this year, Beyond Religious Boundaries: Learning from the Holocaust.
Filler says its up to leaders to help avoid another painful time in history.
Holocaust Remembrance Day will be nationally recognized on May 2.
