First Alert Forecast: Very nice this weekend - Turning hotter next week

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The weather is looking great this weekend for any outdoor events. Sunshine with a few passing clouds and temps in the 80s with low humidity. Get out there and enjoy it because much hotter weather moves in for next week.

First Alert Weather Headlines:

· A few more clouds out there today with highs getting into the low to mid 80s. A spotty sprinkle or two is possible.

· No weather issues this evening or overnight tonight with lows in the 50s and 60s

· High temperatures will climb into the upper 80s to near 90 next week.

First Alert Weather Story:

Today, a very weak cold front will slide in from the north giving way to partly cloudy skies. I took the rain chances out of the forecast as it looks to stay on the dry side today but still can’t rule out a spotty sprinkle or two. High temperatures will be in the mid 80s.

As we go into Monday, we will see high temperatures in the mid 80s under a mix of sun and clouds.

With high pressure building in from offshore through next week, we will see our high temperatures soar into the upper 80s to near 90 degrees Tuesday through Friday.

Rain chances go back up late next week into next weekend.

Tonight: No issues. Clear and comfy with lows in the 50s and 60s

Monday: Sun and clouds with highs in the mid 80s
