Former Sumter Police officer arrested for having sex while on duty

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has announced the arrest of 43-year-old Travis Haynes.
According to the arrest warrant, Haynes participated in sexual acts with a woman at her home while he was on duty for the Sumter Police Department in June 2018.
Haynes has been charged with misconduct in office and has been booked at the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center.
