Apartment fire in Columbia results in about $50K in damages, officials say

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The Columbia Fire Department responded to a fire at Deerfield Run Apartments early Thursday morning.
The incident happened around 5:45 a.m. Officials say the fire resulted in about $50,000 worth of damage, according to early estimates.
No injures were reported.
There is no word yet on what may have caused the fire. Check back for updates.
