Photos taken by a bystander show a group greeting the friendly mammal Saturday. Our reporter estimates nearly 100 people gathered to watch the seal bask in the afternoon sunshine.

There’s no update on whether or not this is the same seal that appeared earlier in the week. At this time no official has come in to check on the health of the seal.
