GRANITEVILLE, SC (WIS) - A Graniteville woman is charged with setting fire to her bedroom Tuesday evening.

Deputies say 38-year-old Tina M. Cowin of Graniteville is charged with second-degree arson.

The Bath Fire Department put out a fire in a second floor bedroom at around 7:00pm Tuesday. Moments before the fire, deputies say Cowin borrowed a lighter from a relative.

She then was seen running from the second floor right before smoke triggered an alarm. Deputies arrested Cowin at the scene.

In June 2007, Cowin was convicted of second-degree arson for setting fire to a mobile home in North Augusta.

Cowin is being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
