Bid for a tailgating party at USC-Clemson for charity

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A local charity is raising money for cancer research by auctioning off a tailgating event.

Suzy McGrane died two years ago of cancer. Suzy was the reason for the Save Our Suzy event, and now Suzy is the inspiration for Share Our Suzy.

You can read more about Suzy and SOS by going to their website.

"If you didn't know Suzy, I wish you had because she was a remarkable woman. If you did know Suzy, you know how passionate she was about helping others," says Palmetto Health Foundation Community Relations Director Kaye McCoy.

The foundation is raising money by offering a tailgating party at the USC-Clemson game on November 24 on Ebay.

All proceeds benefit SOS Columbia and will help provide screenings and resources for early breast cancer detection and treatment

McCoy says the tailgating package will include five parking spaces in the Gates at Williams-Brice covered garage access for 10 to the heated open-air tailgate area with BBQ grill stations, seating and TVs, pizza and wings from the Village Idiot, a special prize pack from Addams Bookstore and access to a lounge pool and spa, TV lounge and fitness center.

Bid online at Ebay Auction #170159945609.
