ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) - About 1,800 members of the 218th are serving in Afghanistan right now. Saturday, a big yard sale is being held to raise money to send the guardsmen care packages.
It starts at 7am at the Orangeburg Armory at 1645 Stonewall Jackson Boulevard and goes until 1pm. Money raised will go to making care packages for the soldiers of the 218th and buying items for Afghan children.
You can also drop off items at the Armory to be sold - just make sure you price them first.
