POLITICAL EXPERIENCE: Cleveland City Council member in the 1970s and 1980s; mayor of Cleveland, 1977-79; Ohio Senate, 1994-1996; member of U.S. House of Representatives, 1997-present.

OTHER EXPERIENCE: Clerk of municipal courts, radio talk show host, lecturer, media consultant, TV reporter, copyreader at The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer and The Wall Street Journal, surgical technician at St. Alexis Hospital.
