Cranberry Dip Prep Time: 20 min (best if refrigerate 1 hour before serving) Makes approximately 2 cups
8 oz fat-free cream cheese ½ cup cranberry sauce ¼ -½ cup dried cranberries (not needed if use cranberry sauce with whole cranberries) ¼ -½ cup pecans, toasted and chopped
1. Toast pecans on a cookie sheet at 350º for 5-10 min (will start turning a darker brown). 2. Soften cream cheese then beat smooth. 3. Add cranberry sauce and blend into cream cheese. 4. Mix in dried cranberries (if needed) and pecans, after they have cooled. 5. Refrigerate for an hour for best flavor.
