(Statewide) Oct. 19, 2005 - Trick-or-treating is a pastime for many children in the Midlands at the end of October each year.
WIS has done some footwork in determining the days that each community will observe Halloween. Every single county we talked with said Halloween will be celebrated on the day it is, Monday. They said they only change it when it falls on Sunday.
But individual communities make the decisions on what times they will celebrate, and the best source for this information is the city and town councils where you live.
Other organizations, like the Sheriff's Department, don't determine when Halloween is celebrated.
