SC Forestry Commission bans burning across state ahead of Florence's arrival

COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - The South Carolina Forestry Commission has issued a statewide burning ban due while Tropical Storm Florence is in the state.

The ban started on Wednesday, Sept. 12 and will continue until further notice.

With the approach of Hurricane Florence, the South Carolina Forestry Commission will issue a State Forester's Burning Ban for all counties, effective at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12.
