(Lake Murray) Sept. 22, 2005 - The B-25 that sat on the bottom of Lake Murray since 1943 is about to take a trip.
Several parts of the plane have been taken off and loaded onto a truck to be taken to Alabama where it will be restored. Parts of the tail section are now gone, along with the left engine, and the landing flaps.
Crews will not take the wings off. They tell News 10 they only have two more major sections to remove before they haul off the B-25.
They say it could be moved away from the lake Friday.
