ORANGEBURG COUNTY, SC (WIS) - One person has died in an Orangeburg crash that happened Friday morning, according to SCHP.
The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. on US-176 at US-15 in Holly Hill and involved two vehicles, SCHP Lance Corp. Judd Jones said.
Christopher Calloway, 35, was driving a 1996 Ford pickup truck east on US 176 and struck a Honda in the westbound lane. Calloway's truck overturned and caught fire.
Calloway was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from his truck. He was then taken to a hospital.
The driver of a 1994 Honda died in the accident, according to the Orangeburg County Coroner. That victim was wearing a seatbelt and has not been identified yet.
The investigation is ongoing.
