MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Myrtle Beach’s finest was on hand to help man’s best friend when it found itself in a little bit of trouble on Wednesday.
A video post on the Myrtle Beach Police Department’s Facebook page stated a small dog named Willie Nelson found himself stranded on the center island of the pond at Barc Park South, located near Grand Park and The Market Common.
Myrtle Beach Police Cpl. Thomas Vest said the dog was chasing ducks when he found himself stuck on the pond.
The video shows Cpl. Tommy Hunt paddling back with little Willie Nelson, who hopped off the paddle board and was reunited with his family.
