FIRST ALERT: Scattered storms for the weekend

(WIS) -

FIRST ALERT Weather Highlights:

  • Expect lower storm chances today but, an unsettled weather pattern is expected this weekend, which will lead to stormy weather Saturday and Sunday.
  • A front is moving closer, but it will not arrive until next week, but pre-frontal moisture will lead to the higher storm chances.
  • Temperatures will drop slightly for the end of the week and the weekend into the lower 90s.
  • Heat Index values will settle in the upper 90, which is an improvement from the triple-digits

A front is getting closer and rain chances will increase again.

The front will move into the state Tuesday. therefore we will have another round of persistent moisture in place to start the week.

Rain and shower chances will increase. But with the additional moisture and lack of sunshine, we will see daytime high temperatures below average for several days.

Rain chances and temperatures will go down midweek and into next weekend.

Saturday: Partly sunny, muggy, 40% Highs lower 90s, Heat Index 97°
