A cold front moving through the state Wednesday will aid in the development of showers and thunderstorms (mostly in the southern Midlands.)
As usual, some of the storms could produce heavy rain.
Littler drier and a bit less humid for Thursday as we’ll see only isolated thunderstorms. It’s July so the heat and humidity return. By Friday into the weekend, we are right back at it with highs in the lower 90s, higher humidity and scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Some days may have a better rain chance than others. This is due to small disturbances that will move through the state and enhance storm chances each time they arrive.
No tropical systems expected to develop over the next two days.
